Draft Sheriffdoms (Alteration of Boundaries) Order 1996

4.30 pm

The Minister of State, Scottish Office (Lord James Douglas-Hamilton): I be to move, That the Committee has considered the draft Sheriffdoms (Alteration of Boundaries) Order 1996. 4 The changes are extremely minor. The hon. Members for Dumbarton (Mr. McFall) and for Clydebank and Milngavie (Mr. Worthington) made representations on one point of substance, and we have implemented their recommendations by making no change to the sheriffdoms about which they were concerned. The rest of the changes to be made are so minor that they do not need to be described in detail.

Question put and agreed to.

Committee rose at twenty-nine minutes to Five o'clock.
