The Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department (Mr. John M. Taylor): It is always a pleasure to sit under your chairmanship, Mr. Hill. I know that the Committee would agree. It is also pleasing to see the hon. Member for Hornsey and Wood Green (Mrs. Roche) leading for the Opposition. 4 The Bill is a useful and uncontroversial product of the Law Commission's work and I wish it on its way.

Mrs. Barbara Roche (Hornsey and Wood Green): I associate myself with the Minister's words. It is always a pleasure to have you in the Chair, Mr. Hill, and I thank the Minister for his kind words. This totally uncontroversial Bill has the full support of the Opposition. We wish it every success. As we said on Second Reading, we want to place on record our sincere and grateful thanks for the thorough and conscientious work of the Law Commission.
